I believe the hero in my book is Trisha as I said in my last post. Since I have read further into my book, I see now that Trisha really is the real hero and she shows many ways on why she is! Some of the qualities Trish shows for being a hero is hard working, willing, determined, a self-sacrificer, cooperative, helpful, and loyal. I feel that all of these qualities are very important for a hero for when showing all of these things, for when showing all of these qualities, the character will come out to be the ultimate hero in everyone's eyes. Trish is all of these things for she works hard at getting chores done while her dad is in the hospital, she is willing to do all of these things by herself and doesn't complain about it, sacrifices her time and effort into getting it done, and is very helpful.
A quote from this book to support my thinking is on page 24 where Trisha said ; "No, David. I have much to do with Dad being away. I have a responsibility here! I can't go to some party!" I believe this quote proves that Trisha really does want to and is the hero.
These, I believe are very important hero qualities concluded my opinion that I believe the hero in my book is Trisha.
I chose two pictures of a girl exercising a horse which is what Trish does to show she is a hero, and a picture of a girl doing barn chores, which is another thing that Trish does to show she is a hero.

Make sure that every time you use a direct quotation from your novel, you include a proper citation (author page #). You have a few blog posts to catch up on when you return from Cuba...
ReplyDeleteGreat job Annie! I love the pictures of the horses and you used a good explanation on it too. remember to reread your post for actually posting it to check for errors. Also don't forget to put in where you got your pictures using MLA citation. What is the title and author of this book? I thought you did a great job of listing lots of characteristics of a hero.
